What’s On Diary

The ShowRoom has built a reputation for presenting some of the most exciting companies touring on the UK circuit to the South East.

We actively seek artists and companies whose practice is innovative and exploratory in form and content and, through collaboration and partnership, we seek to produce and present a programme of extraordinary work which questions and develops arts practice in the 21st Century and presents opportunities for audiences to experience this work at every stage of its development.

Tickets for our Spring 2025 programme are available to book here.

Spring 2025, at a glance

  • Ocean Stefan
    Monster Show
    Thur 13 February | 7.30pm | Full £8 | Concessions £5 | Age 16+
As the iconic 1931 film Frankenstein plays silently in the background, a lone creature stands on stage to perform the live score. From deep inside a frankly ridiculous costume, they attempt the impossible task of delivering the entire soundtrack using just one voice. Dialogue, sound effects, music, everything.
  • Seth Kriebel
    Faust
    Thur 27 February | 7.30pm | Full £8 | Concessions £5 | Age 16+
The world has changed since Dr. Faustus summoned the demon Mephistopheles, but one thing has remained the same: Nothing comes without a cost. Today we have conjured A.I., nuclear power, social media, next-day delivery … and we bargain daily.
  • James Rowland

James has been touring his storytelling theatre shows for half his adult life. This year was different though. Returning home after his first stint away, he received a letter that exploded his life, and the tour became a search: for the person who sent it, for a sense of home, and to maybe save a life.
