    Bryony Kimmings, 7 Day Drunk

    7 Day Drunk

    WED 29th FEB
    7:30pm
    Full £10, Conc £6

Bryony Kimmings is NOT an alcoholic. But she has always had a rocky relationship with booze. It seems the dark stuff is intrinsically linked to her confidence as an artist as well as blame for most genius and most hideous creations. 2 parts song and dance routine, 1 part breakdown with a twist of sobering reality, the show follows Bryony as she cracks open her own creative psyche with the help of a film-maker, a team of scientists, carers and an American IT expert. Created solely from material made during a seven-day experiment, in which Bryony was kept in various states of scientific drunkenness. Performed sober.

“A bold, brassy yet sobering show with lots of bottle…
    disarmingly mad and honest.”

This year, the current company will be performing repertoire by choreographers Cai Tomas, Aya Kobayashi and Liz Richards. The rehearsal process combined both intensive weeks as well as regular rehearsals over a period of four months; resulting in three very exciting and varied new works inspired by both the choreographer and the dancers themselves. The show also features selected works which were choreographed by promising third year dance students from the University of Chichester. The company have been touring throughout England, with the Showroom being 3Fall’s final performance.

Predator (finishing off what I started when I was five)

    Full £4, conc £3
    (15+)

At five years old my brother and I snuck down stairs after my parents had gone to bed and taped the film Predator off the TV, we would watch the film religiously thereafter and began creating our own version. What started out as a scene for scene re-creation soon turned into our own re-imagining, unfortunately we never finished what we had started.

    So here’s my chance!
With a little bit of your help I will finish off what’s been in the making for 20 years, using some of the same techniques that my brother and I started with, as well as bringing to life and realizing the fantasy that we wished we were able to achieve in 1991.

So please, sit down and join me at my table, as we play with remote control cars, action men, puppets and our own imaginations to complete our own version of the film Predator and finally finishing off what I started when I was five.
